GPN Hub Facility Move

Internet2 (I2) established the Abilene network in February 1999. I2 contracted with Qwest to provide regional network aggregation points (gigaPoPs) across the nation. Abilene currently provides a 10 Gbps network that services more than 220 university, corporate and affiliate members.
