COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Cisco Systems Inc. says its massive CRS-1 core router, which won the 2006 EE Times Annual Creativity in Electronics Editor's Choice award, has been deployed to 85 customers in less than three years, surpassing Cisco's 2004 market prediction for the router. More than 900 systems have been shipped since August 2004.
