XKL, a new systems company from Cisco Systems Inc. (Nasdaq: CSCO - message board) founder Len Bosack. The company's big claim is to bring "economy and simplicity to the operation of DWDM systems." Another claim: They've already got systems deployed. Somewhere. They're hosting a NANOG (North American Network Operators Group) meeting, well, now. We've learned their equipment is providing multiple 10-Gigabit Ethernet connections for that conference.
