Not such a slacker after all...

Some information about me: I was born in St. Petersburg, Russia and emigrated to the US with my family when I was 9 years old. I received three degrees in Electrical Engineering culminating with a Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin, Madison in 1997. Since then, I have worked for Agilent in fiber optic test and measurement and co-founded Taliescent, a provider of fiber optic calibration standards. I currently live in Tucson, Arizona USA with my wife and 2 kids.

He's a hell of a guy that guy.
