Verizon files suit over cut phone lines

Verizon Wireless and Verizon California, Inc. filed suit in Santa Clara County Superior Court on Thursday against John Doe and Does 2-100, alleging damages for its customers as a result of the loss of phone and data service for more than 20 hours on April 9.
