(Regarding Cisco 12000 series router OC3 circuit crossconnected to Sycamore 16000 BBDCS.)

Cisco router cannot see software loopback at Sycamore 16000 BBDCS. I placed internal diagnostic loopback on Cisco router POS interface card. Router is good to this loop. I called manned switch site fiber technician and had him place a hard fiber loopback at the first fiber patch pannel. The router does not see this hard fiber loopback. I returned router drop of private line back to provisioning department to have new router assigned to this circuit.
